About Benha University
An Egyptian university founded in 25 November 1976 as a branch from Zagazig University. Benha city is 49 km north to Cairo and is the capital of Kalubeya governorate.
Benha University got its independence in 2005 and conatins 16 faculties.
The current president is professor Mohamed Safwat Zahran.
Benha faculty of medicine was founded since 1976 too, the current dean is professor Ahmed Goda Elgazzar.
